Agentic autonomics: Towards self-remediating networks
The Concept
This Innovation Hub Pioneer Project is bringing together industry partners to demonstrate an end to end, AI enabled fault management scenario aligned with the Open Digital Architecture (ODA). The project focuses on showcasing how faults can be detected, analysed, and resolved in near real time through a closed loop workflow that integrates observability, AI driven root cause analysis, ticketing, and human in the loop governance, culminating in a live industry showcase at DTW Ignite.
Scope & key activities
The project focuses on delivering a practical, standards aligned fault management scenario:
- Design and validate an ODA-aligned fault management workflow covering fault detection, analysis, ticket creation, resolution, and closure
- Integrate AI-driven fault analysis with enterprise ticketing to demonstrate automated and human assisted operations
- Develop and rehearse a live, end to end demonstration scenario suitable for executive and technical audiences
- Produce reusable artefacts including reference flows, demo assets, and showcase-ready content for DTW Ignite
This scope ensures consistency, interoperability, and real world relevance.
Outcomes
The project delivers tangible, industry ready results.
- A validated, end to end fault management use case demonstrating closed loop operations on the TM Forum ODA Canvas
- A live DTW Ignite showcase illustrating AI assisted fault detection, root cause analysis, ticket lifecycle, and resolution
- Clear alignment with TM Forum standards and Open APIs, reinforcing best practices for autonomous and human governed operations
- Reusable demonstration assets and reference material to support broader industry adoption
These outcomes reinforce TM Forum’s leadership in AI enabled operations.
